About these terms

These terms govern your use of WatchLately, a service operated by PJMA Productions, LLC. By creating an account or using WatchLately, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. WatchLately is currently evolving, so features may change, be interrupted, or be removed as the service is refined.

Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. New members must enter an accurate date of birth so WatchLately can confirm eligibility before creating the account. The exact birth date is not added to the member profile and is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Household labels such as Child describe a family relationship; they do not permit an account for someone under 13. You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding access to your account, and activity performed through it. Do not impersonate another person, create an account for someone without permission, or use WatchLately for commercial solicitation.

Your content and sharing choices

You keep ownership of the messages, recommendations, notes, ratings, photos, and other content you provide. You give WatchLately a limited, nonexclusive permission to store, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, moderate, and improve the service and to honor the audiences you select.

Dinner Tables, Households, direct conversations, and limited Friend profiles are private product spaces, but every member is responsible for what they choose to share and for respecting the confidence of others.

Community safety rules

Do not use WatchLately to post, send, recommend, or facilitate:

• harassment, bullying, threats, stalking, hate, or targeted abuse;
• sexual exploitation, pornography, or content that endangers a child;
• spam, scams, malware, deceptive links, impersonation, or coordinated manipulation;
• unlawful content or activity, or content that infringes privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, or other rights; or
• attempts to evade a block, moderation action, privacy boundary, security control, or rate limit.

WatchLately uses narrow automated safeguards for certain explicit threats and repeated-link spam, together with member reporting, blocking, and authorized human review. Automated safeguards do not replace member judgment or human review.

Reporting, blocking, and moderation

You can report a member or a received message from the relevant profile or conversation. You can also block a member immediately, with or without a report. Authorized reviewers may investigate reports, preserve a bounded evidence snapshot, remove content, restrict features, suspend or terminate accounts, or contact appropriate authorities when reasonably necessary to protect people or comply with law.

We aim to review safety concerns promptly, with priority given to credible threats and risks of harm. Reports made in good faith are welcome; knowingly false, retaliatory, or abusive reports may themselves violate these terms. If anyone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services rather than relying on an in-app report.

Account suspension and deletion

You may permanently delete your account from Profile and Settings in the mobile app or from the website's account controls. Deletion removes the active account and associated personal data as described in the Privacy Policy. If you host a private circle, WatchLately may transfer that circle to a remaining member so their shared space can continue, or remove it when no other member remains.

We may limit, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address a material or repeated violation, protect members or the service, comply with law, or prevent fraud or abuse. The original Founding Beta owner must transfer the protected service-owner role before deleting that operational account.

Third-party services

WatchLately relies on third-party services for hosting, authentication, storage, entertainment metadata and artwork, email, and optional notification delivery. Their availability and terms may affect the service. Title information and artwork are supplied through TMDB and remain subject to their respective owners' rights. WatchLately does not provide streaming content and is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

Disclaimer and limitation

The beta is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, WatchLately is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from use of the beta.
