Support & Safety

WatchLately support for members and App Store visitors

Contact WatchLately

For account access, privacy, technical, or safety help, email info@watchlately.com. Include the email address on your account and a short description of the issue, but never send your password or a verification code.

Report a member or message

Open the member's limited profile or the received message and choose Report. Select the closest reason and add private context if it will help the review. Message reports include a bounded snapshot of the reported message. Reports are handled privately by authorized WatchLately reviewers and are not disclosed to the reported member through WatchLately.

Block or unblock someone

You can block a member from the same profile or conversation, with or without filing a report. Blocking prevents new private contact and hides that member's messages from you in shared circles. To reverse the choice on the website, open Friends → Blocked people. In the iPhone or Android app, open Profile and Settings → Safety & support → Blocked members. Choose Unblock; unblocking does not silently recreate a former friendship.

Delete your account

In the iPhone or Android app, open Profile and Settings → Delete account. On the website, use the Delete account control in Profile & Privacy. Read the explanation, type DELETE, and confirm. The deletion is permanent and removes the active account and associated personal data described in the Privacy Policy.

Age eligibility

WatchLately accounts are for people age 13 and older. New signup uses a private date-of-birth check and does not add the exact birth date to the member profile. Household relationship labels do not permit an account for a child under 13. If you believe an under-13 child created an account, email support with the subject Under-13 account concern. Do not include the child's password, verification code, or additional sensitive information.

Urgent safety concerns

WatchLately reports are not an emergency service. If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. For a credible threat or other urgent WatchLately safety concern, file an in-app report and email support with the subject Urgent safety concern.
